Warau-arsnotoria
Through a surprise announcement, developer Nitropolis today confirmed that its charismatic mobile RPG Warau Arsnotoria (Arnotoria's Smile) is getting anime.
The premiere is promised for July 6, 2022 with a trailer already revealed, highlighting the visuals and animation quality of the episodes (check it out below).
Mixing shoujo comedy and fantasy, the story will take place at the Ashram school of magic, following teenager Arsnotoria and other girls named Pentagram, who are there to study and become educated ladies as adults.
The plot will show the characters' daily lives and their interactions with teachers as they study culture, magic and etiquette.
The anime is produced by Liden Films with general direction by Naoyuki Tatsuwa (directed "Nisekoi"), script by Midori Gotou (wrote for "Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun") and soundtrack by Ryo Takahashi (composed for the film "Ai no Utagoe wo Kikasete").
If you find similarities between the look of the protagonists with the series "Re:Zero" it is not by chance. Shinichirou Ohtsuka, who worked on the isekai, is also the original designer for Arsnotoria.
The voice cast will have the same voices present in the game. Arsnotoria will be played by Misaki Kuno (Lidyanne from "Strike The Blood"), Mell will be voiced by Miharu Hanai, and Little Alberta will be voiced by Miyu Tomita (Miko Iino from "Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai").
The RPG was released in 2020 celebrating two decades of work by Nitropolis.
