Third chapter of Mahoutsukai no Yome: Nishi no Shounen to Seiran no Kishi
The sequel would come in 3 special episodes available on Blue-Rays sold in bundles with volumes 16, 17 and 18 of the manga.
The 1st disc hit the market on September 10th, the 2nd came out on March 10th and the 3rd episode got a new trailer today confirming its release on September 9th, 2022 (see below).
For those unfamiliar with Mahoutsukai no Yome (The Sorcerer's Bride) follows the story of Chise, a 15-year-old girl haunted since childhood by being able to see the supernatural.
Abandoned and without a family, she is sold to Elias Ainsworth, an enigmatic mage with an animal skull for a head. He helps Chise develop her immense potential while giving her the role of future bride. However this relationship will go through delicate moments not to mention external forces that can threaten it.
The new story begins just before Chise enters the academy. Wit is no longer in charge of the adaptation, which is now in the hands of the Kafka studio set up exclusively for this purpose.
The anime is inspired by the manga by author Kore Yamazaki.
