Lycoris Recoil wins its sixth promotional video and has set its premiere date for July 2nd.
A Production I.G. released a new video and illustration of Lycoris Recoil today, confirming the film's premiere on July 2, 2022. The teaser highlights Sayuri's rendition of the encerrament song "Tower of Flowers." The anime will be an original work that will bring in Shingo Adachi for the first time as general director. He was animation director and designer for the series "Working!!" and "Sword Art Online". Lycoris Recoil will tell the story of friends Chisato and Takina who work at Cafeteria Riko Riko along with other girls. The characters however have a double life belonging to the secret organization DA (Direct Attack) that fights crime. The staff will also include script by Asaura Seizon (author of "Ben-to") and character design by Imigi Muru (author of "Kono Bijutsubu Niwa Mondai ga Aru!"). 
Chisato will be voiced by Chika Anzai (Chise from "SSSS.DYNAZENON"), Takina will be played by Shion Wakayama (Cosette from "Takt Op"), Mizuki will be voiced by Ami Koshimizu, Kurumi will be voiced by Misaki Kuno and Mika will be played by Kousuki Sakaki.
