The light book Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Bakuen wo! (An Explosion in This Wonderful World!) will be adapted into an anime, according to a production statement made today (tweet below).

The exhibition format, on the other hand, is unknown, since it might be a movie or a TV/Streaming series.


Already completed, the novel was released in five volumes between 2014 and 2019, in addition to a manga adaptation.


The narrative follows young Megumin and her companion Yunyun before they encounter Kazuma, Aqua, and Darkness in a spin-off/prologue of Konosuba!
