Ecchi comedy "Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun" releases new teaser and illustration
Announced in May of last year, Megami-ryou no Ryoubo-kun (The Caretaker of the Goddess Dormitory) today released a new video (below) confirming a July 2021 premiere. The anime is produced by studio Asread adapting the ecchi comedy manga by author Hino Ikumi. This studio is considered average and has worked in the past on series like "Arifureta" and "Queen's Blade: Grimoire". Megami-Ryou will be directed by Shunsuke Nakashige (directed "Sword Art Online: Alicization"), script by Masashi Suzuki (wrote for "Plunderer"), and character design by Maiko Okada (she was animation director on "Shuffle!: Memories" ). The story follows Nagumi Koushi, a 12-year-old boy who, in exchange for shelter, becomes the caretaker of a girls' dormitory inhabited by beautiful university students. There, he will experience unusual situations such as entering the women's bath without warning or dealing with the young Athena who has difficulties in talking to boys. Koushi will be voiced by debutant Misuzu Yamada, Athena will be played by Ayaka Nanase (Mio from "Yama no Susume") and Minerva will be voiced by Chiaki Takahashi (Christina from "Princess Connect! Re:Dive").
