Wow-Ingoshima-manga-surpasses 1.5 million copies sold
With the 12th volume hitting the market on February 25, 2022, the series surpasses 1.5 million copies sold according to an updated report. The value includes the sales of the "Camgoroshi" prologue that already has 2 volumes released (images at the end).
In a "Tomb Raider" vibe, Ingoshima tells the story of a 2nd year high school class who start a 5-day excursion on Hachijo Island. Among them is young Keita Toudo, his childhood friend Aoi Miyahara and vain and unsympathetic Kaoruko Ayukawa.
However, during the trip, the ship is surprised by gigantic waves of strange behavior that end up taking the vessel to the wreckage.
The survivors wake up on an unknown island and after rescuing the wounded they realize they are not alone. Natives dressed in animal skulls begin to eliminate the men from the gang and kidnap the girls. They will need to fight if they are to survive.
Ingoshima is an ecchi, horror and survival manga that started in February 2018 with a story by Mesuko Amashita and drawings by Yoshiki Tanaka.
