Spy-x-Family-the-adventure-begins-and-everything-you-need-to-know

SPY x FAMILY chapter two begins with the total rejection of Franky occupying the role of mother. On the other hand, we meet Yor, a government employee who doesn't have the best relationship with her colleagues. She has her own concerns and that is that she has a job that no one knows anything about, she is an assassin. Fate leads to the meeting between Yor, Loid and Anya, who due to their own circumstances decide to cooperate to help each other. Loid plans to go to a party where she will pretend to be her boyfriend and then she pretends to be Anya's mother for her entrance to school. Due to the lack of employees, Loid has to work the night of the party so Yor goes alone, however, Loid manages to arrive and supports her in front of her colleagues. Later, when they leave they are chased by the enemies Loid faced before, but they get rid of them and agree to maintain their false relationship as long as the mission/kills require it.

A common goal

We continue to advance this mission to keep the peace, and the next thing a family needs is a mother. The Eden school is not just any school, its requirements can be very specific and even conservative, so it is not surprising that a mother figure is absolutely essential. Of course this is just a stone on the road for our beloved Twilight, used to working alone. In short, without any other choice, I had to look for a woman who could be the ideal candidate. And for this almost impossible mission, Yor appeared, a woman with a clean record, single and who has no problem with him being the father of a girl. Without a doubt, she is the ideal candidate, especially for Anya who, upon discovering her true profession, could not help but get more excited.

For his part, Yor was at a crossroads, because despite his efforts, he cannot be completely normal. What has led her to be somewhat distant from her colleagues and therefore puts her in a situation of danger of being suspected of espionage. Due to her age, everyone considers it strange that she does not have a partner, although not entirely because she is strange herself. Yor's situation is simple, she wants to show a normality that she doesn't fully understand, that's why the words of her colleagues affected her to try to find a partner. Added to this is the fact that he does not want to worry his brother so he believes that if he had a partner his brother's worries would disappear.

Thus, both situations aligned to make Loid and Yor the ideal couple for this mission. Well, neither would interfere with the other more than necessary, they would help their interests and, being fair, the lack of common sense of both coincides quite well.

Assassin x Spy

While the focus of the mission is still raising a family to infiltrate Eden School, this episode gives us our first look at Yor. She is a murderer by profession, and therefore has a very peculiar character. In addition to constantly thinking about murder, she has an unclear image of normality. Although she understands that her brother wants something like that for her, to start a family and be happy, deep down she knows that she cannot do it. All her formative years as an assassin are always in the middle. There is also the fact that her character has put her on the bad side of her colleagues, so she does not often receive signs of kindness.

His meeting with Loid is a total change to his rhythm. Not only because of the help that is offered but because she genuinely recognizes him as someone kind and trustworthy. He becomes a light in the dark, because not only will he be able to clear up doubts about his identity, but he and his daughter Anya could be that breath of normality that eludes him so much. What is a fact is that both Loid and Yor are a very complementary couple. Not only because they are a spy and an assassin, but because of the hidden nature of their work, they both fit physically and mentally. Loid is very smart and capable, while Yor is more innocent and goofy. Even with this, both are carried away by an unusual common sense, typical for their trades. There is no doubt that the best couple has been born.

Final comment

SPY x FAMILY chapter two has been a fun and thoughtful episode, the best of all was finally meeting Yor and having the complete family portrait. The chapter has followed the rhythm of the previous one, letting us carry a smooth and rhythmic rhythm between comedy, action and even adds its own drama. It is not enough to know the profession superficially, that is what this episode tells us. Yor is not a simple assassin, behind her there is training and a reason for that profession. Maintaining a facade is not easy either, even less so when you are so dedicated to your profession that thoughts about it constantly haunt you. We can already see that Yor is a golden addition to this peculiar family of spy and esper.

Before closing this review let's talk about the opening that finally made its debut in this second episode. Starting with the music, Official HIGE DANdism's “Mixed Nuts” is an incredibly catchy song, it's upbeat and upbeat. The visual section is a delight, with a cartoonish 60's style, with the contrast of modern art for a change of pace. It was certainly a very wise choice. I'm all praise for the opening, I loved it and I can't deny it. In addition to the fact that I am more and more a fan of the comedy of the series, special attention to Anya's expressions that are the best.
