Publisher Kadokawa has released the illustration for the 3rd volume of Furuki Okite no Mahou Kishi (The Legendary Knight Lives By Old Rules) which will arrive in Japan on October 20. Being pre-ordered at a cost of ¥$790.00 (R$36.10 at the daily rate), the light novel is written by Taro Hitsuji with illustrations by Asagi Tousaka. Hitsuji became known for his previous work, "Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records", which won anime in 2017 (12 episodes) popular even in Brazil thanks to dubbing in our language. Seeking to repeat the formula in Furuki Okite, the story follows Sid Brizze, hailed as the strongest knight of
the legendary era and also called "The Barbarian". Due to the young prince's ascension to the throne of Calpurnia, Sid is summoned to become a professor at the Academy of Legendary Knights bringing his teachings to a new generation. Published under the Fantasia Bunko imprint, the light novel began in December 2020 and has a manga version since July 2021 drawn by Yoshihiro Kawabata.
