Boku No Pico Review

On the surface, Boku No Pico appears to be nothing more than a well-animated shota with numerous sex scenes. But it's what's behind the surface, what's left unsaid, that makes this an unsettling OVA, much more so than the two episodes that follow, which also star Pico.
boku no Piko
There is no sentimentalism in this OVA, which is odd, taking into account the substance. Mokkun, a fairly tasteless person, sees Pico and winds up engaging in sexual relations with the underaged kid. He brings Pico around leisurely, taking him out for frozen yogurt, giving him penis massages in the vehicle, then, at that point, at last bringing him around to his loft. What creeps me out is the authenticity included here...they don't fall head over heels. There are no roses. Rather there's a person who appears to have practically zero public activity or sweetheart fixating on a nice kid. To the place where he dresses the kid up as a young lady and even looks at him to one. Pico likes the consideration and (after the underlying shock) the sex. It infers accounts of educators having intercourse with their small kids that you find in the report now and again. I watch this anime and think...this could occur, no, this has ended up peopling. Not all instances of pedophiles are severe assaults. Mokkun is neither introduced as a miscreant or a hero. He isn't frantically enamored with Pico nor does he mistreat him, nor is it clear assuming he is controlling the kid or basically forlorn and frantic. Pico also is a secret. He is remaining with his granddad, for the mid year on the off chance that I recall accurately. The man appears to be old and unbiased in Pico and glad to allow a totally unusual man to take his grandson out for significant stretches of time. Assuming we consider the completion, which happens around evening time on the beach...where is the granddad!?
Obviously, I'm making an effort not to say this is everything except shota pornography, no. Just that it stands apart to me due to its obvious authenticity. Contrasted with other yaoi, and even to its own spin-offs (Pico to Chico and Pico x Coco) Boku no Pico stands apart clumsily. It's reasonable Pico loves Mokkun considerably more than Mokkun loves him and the completion scene where Pico turns his guiltless blue eyes towards the crowd (confronting Mokkun) and says 'I love you' consistently spooky me. There are no roses and blossoms in this OVA, no affection, no cheerful completion. Simply a concise look into the existence of a man and his darling, who is a kid. The series takes as much time as is needed showing view and moving toward the simulated intercourses, meanwhile playing the upsetting call of cicadas. Had there been exceptional person advancement, more story and more reason, this might have been an incredible intriguing anime. By and large, charming as shota, however with the smallest feeling of something not right happening on a deeper level. I couldn't actually venture to such an extreme as to say it commends pedophilia or rape...just presents it. Boku no Pico is an anime that doesn't pass judgment, just shows.
